Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Who would have thought that a desert could have a museum? But yes! Located in West Tucson is this 98-acre natural museum filled with botanical features, artifacts, and exhibits. With something new around every corner, you'll be sure to be entertained and of course, learn a little.
Tohono Chul Park
This park is open both day and night and is packed full of attractions. Visit the art gallery, gift shop, various exhibits, and grab some food from the bistro. Parts of the garden are lit at night, making the desert feel magical.
Biosphere 2
Perhaps the most spectacular activity for kids in Tucson is the Biosphere 2. The facility's architecture is jaw-dropping and allows you to leave the Sonora desert and step into another world of the tropics or the Savana. Learn about biodiversity and meet the residents of the different biomes.
White Stallion Ranch
The White Stallion Ranch is the perfect weekend getaway. Patrons can have fun in the heated pools and spa, or seek endless entertainment in the game rooms, movie theatre, or petting zoo. There’s something for everyone!
Madera Canyon
